Palace in the Final: Back the boys in red and blue!
Excitement is sweeping through Croydon as Crystal Palace prepare for the FA Cup final next Saturday 17 May, where they’ll face Manchester City at Wembley. After a thrilling cup run - including a glorious semi-final win over Aston Villa - the Eagles are now just one game away from lifting the historic trophy.
Founded in 1905, this is only the third time the club has reached an FA Cup final, so it’s a pretty big deal for fans of all ages. Could this be the year the Eagles soar to victory and bring the world’s oldest football cup home to South London?
Whether you’ve followed Palace for decades or just caught the buzz this season, now’s the time to get behind the team. Missed out on tickets to Boxpark’s infamous screening? There are plenty of other local pubs and bars across Croydon that will be showing the match live - so go join fellow supporters, soak in the atmosphere, and (maybe?) be part of a moment in football history.
